Mozilla has revealed the winners of the Firefox Flicks contest. In case you haven’t been following it, the competition was to create a 30-second commercial for the Firefox web browser to help promote it. They received nearly 300 submissions!
There are some really good commercials among the winners. (And, maybe some some that are not so good.) Check them out!
I’m a huge fan of Firefox – since I’ve been using the browser I’ve been able to avoid 99% of the pop-ups and viruses and garbage I used to get when using IE. I love tabbed windows, as well. Granted, I was able to use third-party software to block pop-ups with IE, and the new beta of IE 7 includes tabbed browsing. But I’ve been using Firefox by itself for a few years now, and it’s been very good, and very stable.
If you’re not using it – why aren’t you?

As a MS minion, I should toe the company line, I suppose.
Anyhow, I’ve used it, but lately have been beta testing IE7. Tabbed browsing is pretty solid, as is the popup blocking. The feed aggregation is a nice add, but doesn’t beat teh stand alone tools in the space (e.g. RSSBandit)
