Sleepy

It’s a quarter of six in the evening and I need a nap. Maybe some more jasmine tea will do the trick. I keep waking up at 5:30am each day. Don’t ask me why. I can doze for awhile after that but I remain tired.
So far the DeLorean is going for $5100 on ebay. That’s a good start. It really should go for about $8500. I’m hoping the price will go up as we get closer to the auction close. Got a couple folks coming to look at it this weekend, and I still need to make a post to the main DeLorean mailing list. That should stir up some interest.
I hooked up with Chris Melissinos last night for dinner at Blowfish Sushi, a bubble tea at Fantasia, and a few games of outdoor chess. Good times! Chris is the Chief Gaming Guy at Sun Microsystems, and an all-around supercool and visionary guy. If you haven’t met him, you should!
Edwards’ speech last night was pretty good, but didn’t move me like Clinton’s or Obama’s. I heard that Kerry’s speech tonight isn’t going to promote any new policy agenda. I think that’s moronic. The American people need to get to know him and his plans – I don’t think standing up and saying the same thing again is really going to do the trick. But then, I tend to believe in style over substance. Who knows, maybe four days of people saying “John Kerry” over and over really does work. I’d like to believe that people are interested in his policies and plans, but I’m just idealistic like that. It’s probably true that most people just stand in the booth and vote for who they like better. It’s like voting for king and queen of the prom in high school. Ugh.
