1900 Paris world's fair video

This is lovely footage from Thomas Edison of the Exposition Universelle in Paris, in 1900. The shots of the Eiffel Tower, Gare de Lyon, etc, are wonderful, but most fun is watching people on the moving walkway - people run backwards on it, a fellow tips his hat at the camera as he drifts by - I always really enjoy seeing pictures and video from time long ago. It reminds me of the similarities in people, across time and place.
