Speaking at CoFesta/TGS

The good folks at CESA have announced the speakers for the CoFesta portion of the Tokyo Game Show / DiGRA / CEDEC extravaganza. The program is designed to bring together international speakers from animation and videogames, to share knowledge and encourage communication internationally. I believe that it’s free!
It looks like a fun block of foreign speakers, covering both animation and videogames. On September 24, myself, Nick Peck from Activision, Robin Hunicke from EA, and Raph Koster of Areae all will be speaking. Here is the Japanese page, and a Google translation.
I’ll be speaking about the importance of developing videogames for social criticism, and how we can go about making game development more widely accessible in order to encourage a plurality of voices. Fun! 🙂
