Redistributable code...

I'm trying to remember where I heard someone say that "redistributable code takes three times as long to create as code that isn't intended to be redistributable". Anyone remember where I may have heard that? I've been googling along with the names Chris Hecker, John Carmack, Tim Sweeney, Mark Rein...
Help!

I claim 150% if you know what you're doing. Making code reusable is not hard... you just have to care about it, and most people don't. jwb

Thanks John! Yeah that seems more reasonable to me as well. But perhaps the documentation and support are really what people are saying take the extra time. Not sure... hmmmmmm :)
