Writing about game development
Drew Sikora of Gamedev.net somehow managed to snap a few pictures of me when I was not too sleepy and not too drunk. I’m still a bit sleepy.
Gamedev.net is one of the few locations on the net that still talk about on-the-ground game development issues, whether that be for programmers, artists, sound designers, producers… etc. If you have something interesting to share with the developer community at large, drop Drew a line or post your idea to their article proposals forum. Start here!
Game Programming Gems 7 is open for submissions now as well. If you are a game programmer and have a technique that you think would make an interesting short section in the book (ideally 5 – 10 pages), be sure to send in your gem idea via the website.
