An article on NewScientist today talks about a device being developed to record and play back amells. They’re currently using 96 chemicals to simulate the 347 olfactory sensors, but claim to have already obtained good results. Could this be the return of Smell-o-vision? Anyone else remember those guys from the GDC expo five or so years ago?
