A few weeks before E3 I thought to myself… “I’m going to need to take a vacation after the conference.” The show was looking to be a lot of work, and the chance of taking vacation between E3 and launch if I didn’t plan for it was fairly remote. So I booked some vaca, figuring I’d stay at home, buy some furniture, maybe pop up to Seattle.
Luckily, MB was also thinking vacation sounded like a good idea – and took a week off that overlapped with mine, independently. When we started talking about it, we thought, “Hey, why not skip the country together?” After a few conversations and many last-minute website searches, we booked some flights Thursday morning. Tonight (Friday) we’re off to… Australia!
We’ll be there for about 8 days, in Sydney and Adelaide (near the wine country). Neither of us have been to Australia before, but we’re both big wine fans, so that was kind of a no-brainer. 
Hopefully we’ll also have time to see something in the Sydney Opera House, and also go to the zoo. They have a platypus at the zoo! Wow!
