Fun in the City

Last night I walked about four blocks and saw Philip Glass and the Bang on a Can All-Stars. This weekend I’m going to walk about six blocks and see Dennis Kucinich, George Lakoff, Peter Camejo, Julia Butterfly Hill, Medea Benjamin, and Greg Palast. And maybe Woody Harrelson. I’m beginning to dig this whole “living in the city” thing – it’s pretty great when I’m not constantly working.

I wanted to post this up in case anyone else in the San Francisco Bay area hadn’t heard about this event – the Green Festival is going on, and it looks frickin’ amazing. Tons of speakers, a zillion exhibitors, and it’s only $15 to get in for a day. Check it out!
