Wine Moment

I gave in and bought a 375ml bottle of Grgich Hills’ Fume Blanc 2002 Dry last night, to go along with a caprese salad and some ezekiel bread I had for dinner. Okay, the Fume didn’t exactly mesh well with the tomatoes, but it was a good try. The wine itself was absolutely delicious, grassy and lemony at first and evolving to nice fruit and tartness with a little mineral on the end. Ahhhh, I love wine. 🙂
